My name is Carla and just like the title of my blog, I'm always on the run. It's tough staying still in the busyness of this world. I used to be an avid runner, then stopped. A few years later I gave it another try and stopped again. It's been a constant battle rediscovering my passion for running but slowly I'm getting there. I consider myself an introvert. I think a lot and speak little. I'm socially awkward, although I've been getting better at approaching strangers to start a conversation. I'm also not a very good writer. Throughout high school and college, my least favorite classes were writing, rhetoric, literature, and English. I dislike writing even to this day so be nice to me. The purpose of relaunching this blog (last post being in 2015!) is to get in touch with my inner adventurous soul that has been lost for the past several years. I've taken the short cut of sharing life through social media and prefer to document it here. I have so much to say and this is the perfect place to do just that. I hope you enjoy reading and let's take a dive into my mind.
Totally random and not so interesting facts:
- I was born in Mexico
- Love watching documentaries (favorite sources: PBS Frontline, Vice News, and BBC News)
- Tacos are life
- Completed four half-marathons, one marathon and ran several fun runs
- Love singing in the car
- I google the most random things
- Currently paying off all my debt. 2018 is the year!
- On a bad day, I can drive for hours listening to music and no destination in mind
- My dream is to travel the world and God willing it will happen someday!
